About the Show

By: Gore Vidal

Classic 1960 Satirical Comedy

Do the ends justify the means? At the 1960 presidential primaries, two contrasting candidates maneuver to be the party's pick. Secretary of State William Russell lives by his principles, but will principles keep the nation safe as the Cold War looms? Senator Joe Cantwell has mastered using the media to project his image, but can he handle having his own ruthless tactics turned against him? Come see the behind-the-scenes decisions get made in Gore Vidal’s humorous send up of the new politics.
